Today’s the day: I’m FINALLY getting my act together and packing my hospital bag! With an induction date less than two weeks away and Baby #3 (very quickly) running out of room, I figured it might be time to gather up some essentials for when she decides to make her debut.
With my first two, I didn’t really think much of my hospital bag. I was probably still in denial that I was actually having a baby!! I remember throwing so many random things in my go-bag and never actually touched most of it. But after looking back at what I actually used versus what I thought I would, I’ve narrowed down my packing list to include only the essentials. And with the help of Kindred Bravely, packing my bag this time around was a breeze! The items that I’d say are the most essential are all in these bundles (which happen to be great deals!):
One of the best pieces of advice I received from one of the nurses after I had Oliver was to remember that it’s a hospital and they’ll have the majority of things you and baby will actually need. It’s up to you to bring whatever comforts of home you’d like, but the hospital has the rest (and usually lets you take a bunch of extras home too). Things like diapers, wipes, a pump/bottles or formula, nursing pillows, postpartum essentials for Mom, and more are all at the hospital ready for you!
What are your must-haves for your hospital go-bag? Drop some suggestions in the comments below!

FridaMom Recovery Kit
Perfect starter kit to have on hand for when you first get home from the hospital!
Perineal Healing Foam (I always order some Dermoplast for the house)

But wait, there’s more!
Of course all of Mom’s stuff is essential, but there are a few other people who will need somethings of their own for the big day!

For the Bebe
Hat (hospital will provide, but I always liked to have a blue or pink so they have their own right off the bat)
Going Home Outfit (I love these footies and this knotted one)
Diaper Bag (most stuff will be provided by hospital, but I have the diaper bag packed with an extra outfit, mittens, socks, hat, diapers, and wipes anyways since it will live in the car)
Car Seat
Any Photoshoot Accessories (a friend of mine made Caroline her own little name tag so we will definitely be using that for some cute pictures!)

For the Dad-to-Be
Clothes & Loungewear (enough for 2-3 days)
Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Slippers
Deodorant
Pillow/Blanket
iPad/ Laptop/ Books (Madness of Crowds & Dude You’re Gonna Be a Dad)
