A few days ago we read How to Catch a Leprechaun (find a copy on Amazon here) and Oliver has been on a mission to catch one ever since! So yesterday we sat down and built our very own leprechaun trap (find our DIY Leprechaun Traps here). Oliver was convinced that since we added some gold coins to lure the leprechauns to the trap, they would be sure to show up and start causing mischief around our house… and they sure did!
Looking for some funny ways to help the leprechauns play some tricks on your little ones? Keep reading for our list of Leprechaun Shenanigans!

The Bathroom Attack
After our trap attracted some mischievous leprechauns to our house, we started noticing a few unusual things going on! First, Oliver discovered some big, green shamrocks and a note on some toilet paper the leprechauns had unraveled and thrown all over his bathroom. From the note, we learned that the leprechauns that happened to sneak into our house were named Biddy and Fergus (find your own leprechaun characters here) and they were on to us!

A New Wardrobe
Then, he and Emmie discovered that Biddy and Fergus had taken all their clothes out of their dresser and only left the clothes that were the color green! Oliver thought it was absolutely hysterical they hid all his other clothes under his blanket on his bed…

The Leprechaun Trackers
When they woke up this morning, they found another note from Biddy and Fergus with some “leprechaun trackers” to help them on their mission to catch the mischievous leprechauns (find out how to make your own Leprechaun Trackers here).

The Coin Hunt
When Oliver got home from school, Biddy and Fergus left him a note to find some coins they had hidden around the house. They also left him some fun glasses, a necklace, and a festive cup to collect his coins in (as seen on our list of 10 St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Toddlers post)!

The Final Trap
Tonight we will be setting out his trap in hopes of catching Biddy and Fergus and putting a stop to all their shenanigans! So far they’ve been pretty sneaky so we are going to need all the luck we can get to catch them (find our DIY Leprechaun Traps here)!
