This project is by far one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen for Easter. I saw a version of it a few years ago when Oliver was a few months old and I wanted to do a little something for AJ and the grandparents to celebrate Oliver’s first Easter! With the kids being a little older, they were a lot more eager to help with the majority of it! Oliver was so proud of his cotton ball gluing and Mom was proud of how much he did by himself!
What You’ll Need:
- Pink Paint
- Cardstock or Paper Plate for body
- Cardstock for face, ears, and feet
- Photo of your child’s face
- Glue & Scissors
- Cotton Balls or Tissue Paper
The Breakdown:
- Paint the bottom of your child’s feet with the pink paint and make a footprint on two pieces of cardstock.
- While the footprints are drying, cut the cardstock into the shape of two bunny ears and a circle. Paint the ears pink & glue your child’s photo to the circle piece.
- Once the footprints are dry, cut around them in the shape of the feet.
- If you’re using tissue paper, help your child rip it up and then help them glue the pieces to the paper plate, around their photo, and the outside of the ears. If using cotton balls, glue them on the paper plate, around their photo, and the outside of the ears.
- Glue or tape the ears to the back of their photo, then attach the photo to the plate, and finally, add the feet!
- Enjoy an adorable little Easter Bunny all of your own!

I agree, best craft ever! I did this with Aidan earlier this week for a blog post too haha same brain! It was definitely challenging getting the footprints with a newborn lol probably a better craft for a toddler.

No way!! I’ll have to check yours out! I remember trying it with Oliver when he was around Aidan’s age and it was definitely tough lol Luckily it turns out pretty cute, especially looking back a few years later!
