Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwiches
I love these small ice cream sandwiches for the kids! They aren’t full of sugar and are the perfect size for a little mid-afternoon treat. Add on some of these patriotic sprinkles and you’ve got an easy, festive, and tasty treat!

Fruit Skewers
Cut up some pieces of watermelon and strawberries. Stick blueberries, watermelon, and strawberries on a skewer in any pattern you want. Don’t forget to soak your skewers ahead of time to avoid splinters!

Firework Cookies
Using sugar cookie dough mixed with some festive sprinkles, bake according to package directions (pre-made cookie dough is just so much easier with kids running around). Frost with vanilla icing, and decorate with red and blue M&Ms, some yogurt covered raisins, and sprinkles all over! This one is great because you can let the kids decorate them!

Festive Snack Mix
Super easy, festive, and the kids LOVE it! Grab a bag of Chex Mix, toss in some red and blue M&Ms, add some mini marshmallows and you’re good to go!

S’mores
To quote Oliver’s favorite movie, The Sandlot:
“First, you take the graham. You stick the chocolate on the graham. Then, you roast the mallow. When the mallow’s flaming, you stick it on the chocolate. Then, you cover it with the other end. Then, you stuff.”

Mess- Free Popsicles
My kids are notorious for making messes. So to make a festive but mess-free, we made some water-based popsicles! Using these awesome popsicle trays, the kids helped fill them with water and the fruits of their choice (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries). I put them in the freezer overnight and they were a refreshing and mess-free treat they loved!

Pretzel Sparklers
These are super easy and the kids love them! Just grab some jumbo pretzel sticks, some sprinkles (I love these sprinkles from Amazon), and some frosting. Dip the sticks in frosting and then roll in the sprinkles. Let them sit for a bit and enjoy!
